Wow, I guess I haven't been here in awhile. Hmmm... as always where do I start?
I guess I'll start with today. I have been reflecting on many issues today, as probably most of you who are reading this do also. Relationships, household, finances, etc. Everytime I have a "day off" this happens. Well, actually I never have a day off, there is always something to do, right? The kids are back in school, I have a few hours to myself, and as I look around my house do I really want to spend those precious few hours cleaning and organizing (an endless job, I might add) or do I spend this time doing something that I love?
Here are some of my choices:
1) Cook something wonderful. I have three old bananas waiting to be baked into bread.
2) Sit in the middle of the room with my photo albums and get some inspiration to complete something.
3) Finish my knitting project. I'm currently knitting a pair of mittens. I know this sounds lame and easy, but it's my first knitting project that I might actually finish, and I'm almost there.
4) Call my wonderful sister and ask her out to lunch. Lunch is always good - LOL!
5) Call an old friend and chat for an hour about nothing in particular.
6) Re-arrange my office to accomodate a small sitting room area, with a comfy couch and a small TV where I will spend some quality time with my mama.
7) Wander into the backyard and look at the weeds, contemplating whether I should eliminate them now or let them go back to the earth in a dry heap in about three weeks.... hmmm guess I just answered that question!
8) Wash my car.
Wow, the list is getting larger and starting to look like work toward the bottom.
Guess I'll start at the top and see how far I get.
Later.
